Polyterephthalic acid plastics mainly include polyethylene terephthalate (PET) and polybutylene terephthalate (PBT).

PET has a highly symmetrical molecular structure and a certain crystalline orientation ability, so it has high film-forming properties and properties. PET has good optical properties and weather resistance, and amorphous PET has good optical transparency. In addition, PET has excellent wear resistance, friction resistance, dimensional stability and electrical insulation. PET bottles made of high strength, good transparency, non-toxic, anti-penetration, light weight, high production efficiency and so on have been widely used. PBT and PET molecular chain structure is similar, most of the properties are the same, but the molecular main chain from two methylene into four, so the molecule is more flexible, more excellent processing performance.

The main uses of poly terephthalic acid plastics are:

Film sheet: all kinds of food, medicine, non-toxic and sterile packaging materials; textiles, precision instruments, electrical components of high-grade packaging materials; audio tapes, video tapes, film, computer floppy disks, metal coating and photosensitive film substrate; electrical insulation materials, capacitor film, flexible printed circuit boards and membrane switches and other electronic and mechanical fields.

Application of packaging bottles: Its application has been developed from the initial carbonated beverage to beer bottles, edible oil bottles, seasoning bottles, medicine bottles, cosmetic bottles, etc.

Electrical and electronic appliances: manufacture of connectors, coil bobbins, integrated circuit housings, capacitor housings, transformer housings, TV accessories, tuners, switches, timer housings, automatic fuses, motor brackets and relays.

Auto parts: such as switchboard cover, ignition coil, various valves, exhaust parts, distributor cover, measuring instrument cover, small motor cover, etc., can also use PET excellent coating, surface gloss and rigidity, manufacturing car exterior parts.

Mechanical equipment: manufacturing gears, cams, pump housings, pulleys, motor frames and clock parts, and can also be used as microwave oven bakeware, various ceilings, outdoor billboards and models, etc.
